Auditions for the Marriage of Figaro

Prima Voce Association and Bell’Aria Productions will be holding auditions in Huntsville, AL in November and December 2026. Please check back regularly for information on time and date. We invite talented and dedicated vocal artists to submit materials for consideration. Singers should demonstrate strong vocal technique, musical artistry, stylistic versatility, and compelling dramatic interpretation.

Interested artists are asked to submit the following materials:

1) Two vocal selections. One operatic aria in Italian, preferably by Mozart. One additional contrasting aria or classical vocal selection demonstrating vocal and artistic versatility. An accompanist will be provided.

2) Current artistic resume or CV and recent professional headshot. Not required, but encouraged.

3) Please download, complete, and email completed audition form.

Local Artists: Audition time slots will be 10 minutes. Audition dates are tentatively scheduled for late November or December.

Non Local Artists may submit a video recording either as an email attachment or via unlisted or public YouTube links (preferred method). Please ensure recordings are of clear audio and visual quality. Video submissions are due by December 5.

Email all audition materials to contact@prima-voce.org. Local artists will be given a 10 minute timeslot. Selected applicants will be contacted regarding next steps and any additional audition requirements. Prima Voce Association looks forward to discovering exceptional artists and bringing Mozart’s beloved masterpiece to life.

Performances are scheduled for October 1-3, 2027. Weekly rehearsals will begin approximately 6-8 weeks prior to the performances.
